Nicole explores how image space is created in an artwork and how actual gallery space is navigated creating a dialogue between the two whilst exploring the relationship between the body and architecture.

Her installations incorporate film, sculpture, printmaking, textiles, ceramics and drawing. Art works and architectural features become obstacles and navigational tools for each individuals journey, seeking to confuse and illuminate the hazy demarcation between on and off stage, and in and out of frame.

Recent solo and two person exhibitions include, Space In Between, London (2017) and The National Gallery, Prague (2016) and group exhibitions at Open Space, Baltimore (2015); Jerwood Visual Arts, London (2014) and V22, London (2013). In 2017 she was awarded funding from Arts Council England.

Nicole has recently completed a Family Artist in Residency at the Camden Arts Centre where in a series of ‘Studio Takeovers’  she explored themes of body, architecture, movement and history. Looking at ways in which we collectively work together to retrace memories and reimagine the way we live together as a community.
